Their was a senior at south-central Washington high school faked her pregnancy for the past six months as a social experiment for her senior project. Really!!!! Her name was Gaby Rodriquez. She finally revealed herself by taking off her belly bundle in front of the student assembly and it ended with a standing ovation. Now what kind of school is this. She made this "bulge" out of wire mesh and cotton quilt batting. Many students and teachers read the comments from her class experiement.
Of course her story caught the attention of the media outlets across the country. The principle of the school recieved calls by the end of the day. And surprisingly a college recruiter wanted to speak with Gaby which the recruiter was a business owner who were so impressed with her and offer her a College Scholarship. Gaby told them how she wanted to experience and sacrificed her senior year to know what it will feel like to be a potential mom. Apparently everyone admire her for the courage and they gave her mom the credit of giving her support and mentors through the Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital's Childbirth Education Programs.
I still don't understand how she was able to pull that off by getting a scholarship from this but whatever she did made an impact on everyone.
